Lifeway College March 2008 - still working

Currently i am working with Lifeway College as a Senior Lecturer teaching advanced topics in 3D Animation.

The following is one of the class projects i used to showcase CG integration in Live footage using Nuke.

I did all the compositing including sky replacement, animation, fx.
Jonathan Mafi did the camera tracking
Lewis Brock modeled the Skyline
Tony Hallberg modeled the Cadillac

PhotonVFX April 2007-December 2007

The Adventures of Voopa the Goolash. from AbhiKala on Vimeo.

At Photon i worked with the Director, Trevor Hawkins, in developing the look of the show.The big challenge with this show was that it was based entirely in the forest and we needed a way to make a good looking forest in a very tight deadline(one week for one 15-20 minute episode-delivered).

I was responsible for doing all the tests regarding the forest and after quite a few tests we decided to use Vue, i worked on developing a pipeline with Vue and Maya which made forest environments possible in such a tight deadline.I did all the vue environments for the show and i also did Effects in a few effects intensive episodes.

Binary Star Oct 2004-March 2007

I worked as an Environment Artist/ 3D Lead Artist at Binary Star. I worked with the Lead programmers and tested the in house game engine and the effects editor.
I also modeled and textured assets for the game.

Crest Animations Nov 2000-Oct 2004

Worked with Crest Animations as a Senior effects artist for 4 years(Nov 2000-Oct 2004) during which i got to work on quite a few shows including, Pet Alien, Kids Ten Commandments, Wemmicks, Jakers! The Adventures of Piggley Winks(won 2 Daytime Emmy Awards) etc.
